Sure, maybe he's attacking seemingly harmless elderly people, but did you ever stop to wonder if he might have a good reason?

Roux's bruja grandmother lives too far away for her to visit often, but she has a kindly, older, lonely bachelor neighbor who catsits for her in exchange for her friendship and baked goods. Having lost her father, this neighbor fills the hole in Roux's heart at least a small bit. So when someone breaks in, trashes his apartment, and abducts him, she is determined to do anything she can to ensure he makes it home safely. She was always taught "La familia es primero," and for Roux, that includes found family.

The only noticeable clue, though, is an image of a wolf drawn in blood at the scene of the crime. To complicate matters, it becomes evident that she has a stalker; will whoever came for her neighbor take her next?

The Wolf is devastated after his closest friend (with benefits), Achilles, goes missing. When the police look into the only lead available and come up empty, our Wolf is forced to take matters into his own claws. The vigilante shifter soon realizes the people who took his best friend have their sights set on a new victim. He feels obligated to protect her... but he is torn because that means his energy and time are split, no longer devoted only to finding Achilles.

The brand new Venandi Venator Duology follows the stories of Roux and the Wolf, told in first person dual point of views, as their lives inevitably intertwine on a path of mystery, magic, and danger.
